150 year Anniversary of Education in the Ballyfacey Catchment Area.

On Sunday the 25th November 2018 we had an open photographic exhibition in the school to celebrate 150 years of education in the Ballyfacey area. Over the course of the afternoon a huge number of people, including past and present pupils, visited the exhibition. Many stories and memories were shared by people fondly remembering their days in Ballyfacey N.S.

Fr O’ Toole gave a special blessing on the day and refreshments were kindly organised through the Parents’ Association. A beautiful cake was also made by Ann Alyward in honour of the occasion.

All the photographs and memorabilia loaned to the school were very much appreciated and included in those was the original school clock from the old school building up the road from the school’s current premises.

The children from 5th and 6th class also did some fantastic project work which was displayed on the day.

Take a look at some recent photos of our school, playground and playing pitch
